    Description

    The Grant Writing Consultant at Northern Kane Educational Corp. serves as a key strategic partner in securing external funding to support educational programs, capital improvements, and organizational growth. This role is responsible for identifying grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and ensuring timely submission of all grant materials.

    The consultant collaborates closely with leadership, program coordinators, and finance staff to align funding proposals with institutional goals and compliance standards. Key responsibilities include conducting funding research, drafting and editing proposals, preparing budgets, and tracking submission outcomes. Experience with education-focused grants, particularly those related to K-12 public charter schools and community-based initiatives, is highly valued.

    The ideal consultant combines strong writing and project management skills with a deep understanding of the grant lifecycle, from prospecting to post-award reporting.
