    Description

    We are an independent film organization looking to grow our team as we launch our latest film, Counted Out. This position involves wearing many hats, and as such is the perfect opportunity for career development, and to do work that matters. It is a full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support all aspects of operations for film distribution including outreach, marketing, community engagement and communications
    • Manage incoming screening requests
    • Coordinate screenings by communicating with partners, arranging screening logistics, doing audience outreach
    • Maintaining the organization of databases
    • Project management
    • Building newsletters
    • Basic design work in Photoshop and Canva
    • Social media design and posting
    • Develop and maintain relationships
    • Data entry

    Position Attributes and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3-5 years work experience ideally in campaigns, marketing, sales, communications and/or community engagement
    • Strong intellect and work ethic; a self-starter
    • Strong organization skills
    • Positive attitude; confident and assertive; self-motivated.
    • Excellent communication skills especially on the telephone
    • Strong internet research skills
    • Strong computer skills. Experience with google suite, a CRM such as streak or salesforce. Experience with InDesign, Dropox, Photoshop a plus.
    • An interest in documentary films and/or social impact
