    Position Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Full Time Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist to support student recruitment, enrollment, outreach, and career preparation efforts. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships in the community and guiding students to embark on a new career by supporting the beginning of their journey.

    You’ll balance outreach and student support, helping us bring in new trainees while ensuring they graduate with career readiness skills that give them an edge with employers. You will work closely with our Employment Placement Coordinator, ensuring that the student selection process is equitable, fair, and supportive for maximum student success. You will promote the Training Center in the community, building partnerships that help increase Training Center visibility and encourage our programming to grow.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment

      • Build and maintain relationships with community partners (faith-based organizations, CareerLink, GED programs, Chambers of Commerce, CDCs, and other educational institutions and nonprofits).
      • Promote ECA programs through outreach, distribution of recruiting materials, and participation in community events.
      • Recruit and enroll 15-20 students per cohort to support training goals, this number can vary based upon funder requirements.
      • Assist with program orientations and graduations.
      • Table and promote the Training Center at occasional evening/weekend events to expand outreach.
      • Collaborate with other ECA departments and the Employment Placement Coordinator and cross-train with Employment Placement Coordinators to provide seamless services
      • Provide accurate and timely tracking, and reporting on enrollment goals and metrics

    Career Development Support

      • Provide educational information and materials to prospective students, including course material, projected job possibilities, and starting salary.
      • Work with students individually to create professional, tailored resumes.
      • Guide students on effective cover letters and job application best practices.
      • Translate training and experience into language that resonates with employers.
      • Stay current with resume trends and employer hiring practices.

    Qualifications

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a coaching mindset.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
      • Knowledge of job market trends and recruiting practices.
      • Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
      • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
      • Flexibility to attend occasional evening/weekend events.

    Compensation & Benefits

      • Pay range: $53,000-$56,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
      • Health and dental coverage, and paid holidays

    Additional Information

      • This position requires a background check (Child Abuse and FBI Clearance), motor vehicle report.
      • Valid PA Driver’s License is required
      • Own vehicle preferred (mileage reimbursement provided)
