    About Project Create:

    Project Create provides opportunities for creative youth development through accessible, multidisciplinary arts education. We aim to empower young people and amplify their voices by collaborating with children, youth, and families in an inclusive, supportive community where art serves as a healing and transformative tool.

    Position Summary:

    The Community Partnership Program (CPP) Coordinator supports our out-of-school-time arts programs at various community sites. This hands-on role involves assisting teaching artists, students, volunteers, and teaching assistants by managing classroom logistics, supplies, communication, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, youth-centered environment. Regular travel between program sites, community partners, and event locations is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Classroom & Program Coordination

    • Be present and engaged during CPP classes as needed to ensure smooth operations
    • Support teaching artists with classroom needs and materials
    • Communicate daily program updates to the Program Manager
    • Attend classes, workshops, and outreach events as needed
    • Assist with the Annual Student Showcase, including transportation, permissions, event logistics, and artwork preparation

    Supply and Inventory Management

    • Support in purchasing, collecting, and distributing art supplies and materials based on teaching artists’ needs

    Communication & Administrative Support

    • Coordinate class schedules and update calendars with the Program Manager
    • Ensure attendance and session reports are submitted timely by teaching assistants
    • Send reminder emails/texts to teaching artists and assistants
    • Maintain administrative records (supply lists, attendance, surveys, permission slips)
    • Support program evaluation through surveys and data collection
    • Assist in gathering informal evaluation materials (student reflections, photos, artwork)
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience

    • Undergraduate degree preferred
    • Experience in childhood education, youth development, or arts instruction required
    • Experience in administrative roles in fast-paced environments preferred

    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a hands-on, resource-limited environment

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

    Preferred

    • Reliable personal transportation for local travel and supply delivery
    • Passionate advocate for accessible arts education and youth development
    • Ability to effectively present and promote Project Create’s mission and programs
    • Knowledge of community arts education and local/national advocacy communities
