A successful Manager will manage planning and execution of programmatic activities that mobilize participating AMGA member organizations nationwide to achieve this goal. This individual will also help the team identify, plan for, launch, and execute the next national campaign following the conclusion of Rise to Immunize.

    • Plans the Rise to Immunize annual observance, RIZE Action Month, to drive campaign participants to “take action” to improve immunization rates within their practices. Identifies key activities, creates implementation timeline, drafts materials and outreach, and monitors outcomes, with support from staff.
    • Manages in-person campaign events and engagement opportunities (e.g., symposia, focus groups, conference break-out sessions, breakfasts) including drafting agendas, identifying and securing speakers, recruiting participants, and liaising with AMGA’s Education & Meetings team to arrange for in-person logistics.
    • Supports other campaign components, including but not limited to recruitment, engagement, evaluation, and recognition opportunities for participating groups.
    • Manages special projects as developed under the campaign.

    • Excellent oral and superb written communication skills are required, with experience writing for a variety of audiences across different channels (e.g., newsletters, social media content, website content).
    • Track record of managing communications or projects for a healthcare organization, government agency, pharmaceutical company, or PR firm.
    • Ability to analyze, think ahead, prioritize, and stay organized amidst change.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
