Position Summary
The WSFN Coordinator will provide information, support, resources, and advocacy for fathers and other male identifying caregivers of family members with disabilities and special health care needs across Washington State. This is accomplished through establishing and providing support to existing local fathers’ programs, online and virtual support, trainings and events. This position may work remotely within Washington State and/or at our main location in Lake Stevens, WA
Qualifications
The agency encourages exceptional and diverse candidates from a broad variety of backgrounds to apply including recent graduates and those seeking a transition from the private sector. Prefer fathers and other male identifying caregivers to apply and experience in collaboration, facilitation, and/or counseling is a plus. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, empathy, verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Appropriate training and support will be provided. We seek those with a passion to support families and ensure every individual has the opportunity to participate fully in their communities.
