Qualifications: Successful Engagement Associates are energetic, outgoing, authentic, and comfortable presenting information both one-on-one and to a large crowd. The Senior Engagement Associate is expected to be flexible in working evenings and weekends to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes a solutions-driven approach to address challenges in the field. This candidate has a self-starter attitude. We seek bilingual candidates (English-Spanish), detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and are experienced with data entry, analysis, and tracking to inform strategy. As an organization centering justice and racial equity, candidates must have proven success in building and managing relationships with Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities and team members. Position Overview
The Engagement Associate (EA) plays a key role in building and maintaining connections between Power of Two and the communities we serve. Reporting to the Senior Engagement Manager, the EA is responsible for outreach efforts, relationship building with partner organizations, and the direct recruitment and re-engagement of families for Power of Two’s programs. Utilizing innovative engagement strategies, the EA ensures our programming reaches families in need, fostering meaningful relationships with caregivers and community-based organizations.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Location: Bronx, NY or Brooklyn, NY Office Locations, Fieldwork across NYC
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or partnership development.
