The social media Digital Coordinator will work directly with the Communications Manager to advance FICPFM’s digital communications strategy. The Associate will oversee FICPFM’s social media platforms, manage website updates and functionality, and provide digital and technical support for FICPFM’s campaigns and public engagement efforts. They will ensure consistent and strategic digital outreach that supports our mission of creating safer and healthier communities and transforming the criminal legal system.

Qualifications:
FICPFM is committed to hiring individuals who have been most deeply impacted by the carceral system. While all qualified candidates will be considered, priority will be given to candidates who have experienced incarceration and/or have close relationships with currently or formerly incarcerated people.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of professional (paid or volunteer) experience in digital media with responsibilities that mirror what is described above. Prior experience in a movement-building nonprofit organization is preferred but not required. This candidate must have strong knowledge of current social media platforms and an eye on the horizon for new social media opportunities. Direct experience using the tools FICPFM uses is essential for success in this role.
