    Description

    IUAPR is seeking a visionary and relationship-driven Executive Director to lead our next phase of organizational growth and impact. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic leadership across all divisions, resource management, financial sustainability, program development, fundraising management, and community engagement. This is a U.S.-based position reporting directly to the Board of Trustees. Applicants should be legally authorized to work in the United States and located in a major metropolitan area. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in justice-oriented work, nonprofit leadership, coalition-building, and transformative fundraising.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience that includes proven nonprofit leadership preferably in justice-centered, research-based, or community-driven work
    • Demonstrated success in fundraising, including foundations, major donors, and grassroots campaigns
    • Strong background in organizational management, budgeting, and operations
    • Deep alignment with IUAPR’s mission and vision
    • Proven ability to effectively lead cross-disciplinary teams
    • Experience working directly with boards and governance bodies
    • Strong writing and public speaking skills

    Preferred

    • Background in racial justice, anti-racism, or human rights
    • Commitment to and engagement in advocating for Palestinian rights
    • Experience with digital strategy, social media, and public communications
    • Ability to engage with multigenerational and youth-centered programs
    • Background or experience in state, local, or federal policy
