About One World Project
One World Project is a Spanish-immersion community center in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, offering Spanish-immersion educational programs, family support workshops, and community events for all.
Role:
The Director of Engagement will work closely with the Communications Director, Executive Director, and other administrators to implement a fundraising strategy, from cultivating and sustaining individual donor relationships to developing written materials for foundations and government grant applications.
The ideal candidate will bring a high level of organizational skills, will excel at developing systems to track our “back-end” work with donors, will have strong interpersonal skills, and will have experience with platforms like Squarespace, Mailchimp, and other CRM databases.

The Director of Engagement is a full-time position.
This position will be primarily in-person, from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, at 302 Vanderbilt Street. There is some flexibility in terms of remote days to be discussed in conversation with the Executive Director.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is yearly, and it is based on education and experience. The range is between $60,000 and $85,000 annually.
Full benefits, including $700 monthly toward AETNA insurance, are offered. Full time staff also receive significant paid time off: 4 weeks of vacation, 5 sick days, 2 personal days and all Federal Holidays.
After 2 years at OWP, all teachers and staff receive an additional 2 percent bonus annually for their 401K.
