    Description

Title: Volunteer Website Content Reviewer & Writer (with Graphic Content Design)

Duration: 7 days (intensive sprint) • Team: Comms/Programs + Web Dev + Media

Purpose: Rewrite and simplify NESA.Africa’s content so users find what they need fast, get excited to act, and complete key flows (Nominate, Judges, Chapters, Donate, Partners, Media/Webinars).

    Primary outcomes (by Day 7):

    • Navigation clarity and consistent tier language (Blue Garnet / Gold Certificate / Platinum) across all pages.
    • “Suspense + excitement” layer tied to EduAid-Africa Webinar Season (14 Oct–15 Dec 2025) and Expo (16–17 Dec 2025): countdown, weekly reveals, trailer CTA.
    • Bounce reduction via speed-first content, early micro-interactions (Get Matched in 60s, Add to Calendar), and single primary CTA per page.
    • Donation/sponsorship/chapters/partnerships made 2-step simple, with trust copy and impact ladders.
    • Compliance (Terms/Privacy/Code/Donation Terms) checkboxes on required pages.
    • Accessibility & SEO tightened (H1–H3 order, alt text, titles/metas, internal links).

    2) Scope of Work

    Write & edit

    • Rewrite page heroes, section copy, FAQs, and microcopy (form helpers, error messages).
    • Standardize CTAs and tail recirculation (Nominate • Apply to Judge • Join Chapter • Donate).

    Design (light)

    • Homepage hero promo tile (Season + Expo), Media hero, Chapter card, Donate impact ladder graphic, 2 social tiles (square + story). Tools: Canva or Figma.

    Conversion & structure

    • Add Get Matched in 60s quiz on Awards/Nominate.
    • Add Add to Calendar buttons (Season bundle + Expo).
    • Implement sticky utility bar (Primary CTA · Deadlines · Help).

    Compliance & policies

    • Insert required checkboxes on Nominate, Judges, Donate, Chapters, Webinar registration.
    • Link to Privacy/Terms/Donation Terms/Event Code, etc.

    SEO & accessibility

    • Fill titles/metas, alt text, H1/H2 structure, internal links to funnels.
    • Kill duplicated/looping copy; keep paras ≤ 2–3 lines.

    3) Success Metrics (KPIs)

    • Engagement rate: +25–40% (aggressive bounce-rate drop; 95% reduction is a stretch goal—this plan maximizes odds).
    • Home hero CTR: ≥ 8%
    • Nomination: starts ≥ 15% of Home sessions; completion ≥ 40% of starts
    • Judges: ≥ 100 applications by deadline
    • Donate: ≥ 5% page→donation conversion; monthly toggle use ≥ 25%
    • Media/Webinar Season: 40–55% of Media visitors click Register Free; 65–75% click Add All Sessions to Calendar
