    POSITION SUMMARY:

    What an EXCITING time to join Call2Recyle with great teams and culture and work ahead of us! We are experiencing significant growth and opportunity in the organization as we expand nationally. This new role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high visibility finance projects. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across our business lines and operations, marketing, and technology departments. You'll assist in managing comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and analyses that directly influence executive strategy and investment decisions. This role contains a mix of recurring monthly reporting workflows with always changing project-based analysis/modeling work. This is an ideal role for an analytical thinker who is energized at the prospect of a challenge, eager to learn and level up, and ready to make a meaningful impact on business performance.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the Director of FP&A in updating and improving the consolidated financial forecast model for the organization including multiple business lines, products, and many other details.
    • Assist the Director of FP&A with actual versus budget comparisons, Monthly Business Reviews, and performance narratives.
    • Support the monthly close processes with key deliverables. Seek to automate. Document SOPs.
    • Partner with senior managers to define KPIs, develop executive scorecards, and design/audit automated reporting systems (PBI) that provide real-time visibility into business performance for senior leadership.
    • Create Excel models from scratch to think through complex business problems or questions, e.g. pricing changes, new market entry, scenario planning for business units, etc.
    • Key contributor and collaborator to many finance transformation projects around accounting, reporting capabilities, and other operational improvements that enhance organizational efficiency.
    • Assist with systems and reporting changes to reflect organization changes.
    • Act as financial liaison between business units and stakeholders in customer service, marketing, operations, HR etc. to understand their cost centers actuals, support on finance/accounting processes, and reporting on their strategic initiatives.
    • As needed, support and often take the lead on Ad Hoc projects, analyses, and research.

    Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • OR High school diploma and over two years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting/bookkeeping, operations, project management, or a related role.
    • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Call2Recycle, with or without sponsorship.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A self-starter; embodies a thirst for learning and a curious nature.
    • Possesses a constructive attitude and a desire to be part of a fast-paced, roll-up-sleeves your work environment, utilizing a high sense of urgency, patience, and flexibility.
    • Strong Excel experience is preferred!

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, strong PowerPoint skills, and comfort in financial ERPs.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Experience in Power BI is a plus.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • This position is remote based within the United States. Candidates must be able to work from a U.S.-based location and be eligible to work lawfully in the United States for Call2Recycle.
    • Limited travel (estimated 3-4 times per year) as needed. Travel could include, but not be limited to, attending conferences, customer meetings, or team/organization-wide meetings (typically held at Call2Recycle’s central office).
    • The work hours, Monday - Friday, are 8 hours per day. The position may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak periods. Our approach to schedules is to focus more on the quality and timeliness of the work being done.
