ABOUT BROAD STREET LOVE:
Broad Street Love (BSL) is an organization that helps Philadelphians living in deep poverty stabilize their lives through a unique offering of meals and social services that is welcoming to everyone. Our long term vision is not only to meaningfully reduce the trauma and suffering caused by scarcity for Philadelphia's most vulnerable populations, but, along with best-of-class social services and government partners, to break the cycle of poverty, homelessness and hunger in Philadelphia.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Broad Street Love Mail Service Program Associate will be responsible for working closely with guests who may be experiencing the scarcities and traumas of homelessness to establish a mailing address which can lead to obtaining personal stability. With a mailing address, guests are able to secure birth certificates, state identification, social security cards, health insurance cards, and Philadelphia Municipal ID. All in service of gaining access to benefits for which these things are required. Services will be rendered in a harm-reductive, trauma-aware manner. The Mail Service Program Associate will also be responsible for maintaining databases of relevant information pertaining to guests utilizing the BSL Mail Service.

This position is located at Broad Street Love, 315 S. Broad Street. Employees are required to perform work on-site, and all or most orientations will occur on-site.
