    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Manager of Workforce Preparation Services to lead our team in delivering high-quality, person-centered employment support. This role combines staff supervision, program coordination, and instructional leadership to help adults with disabilities gain the skills and support needed to thrive in the workplace.     Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and support department staff to ensure excellent service delivery, compliance, and teamwork
    • Oversee the design, development, and coordination of job readiness instruction that is interactive, relevant, and fun
    • Ensure participants receive high-quality case management services, including intake, eligibility determination, and individualized planning
    • Review and support the delivery of training content, providing coaching and guidance to team members
    • Collaborate with internal departments to align instruction with participant goals and program objectives
    • Monitor participant progress and use outcomes data to adapt programming
    • Manage departmental documentation, reporting, and compliance with funder and accreditation requirements
    • Maintain a caseload of program participants and participate in direct service
    • Coordinate weekly department meetings, ensure staff training, and promote a supportive, inclusive team culture
    • Serve as a liaison to referral sources, external partners, and stakeholders
    • Represent the department in audits, evaluations, and accreditation processes

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation or related field
    • 5+ years of experience working in vocational rehabilitation or employment readiness programs
    • 1+ years of experience in personnel management
    • Experience developing or overseeing training/instructional content
    • Knowledge of work readiness principles, disability services, and individualized planning
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Experience in curriculum development, training coordination, or instructional design
    • Familiarity with CARF standards and workforce development best practices
    • Bilingual (especially Spanish/English) is a plus

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use their hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
