    Description

    Black Farmer Fund (BFF) is seeking a full-time Senior Impact Investment Manager to lead the underwriting, structuring, and management of our investment portfolio. In a traditional Community Finance Institution (CFI), this role would be equivalent to a Lending Officer, but at BFF it also centers on advancing racial, economic, and climate justice in the food system.

    The Impact Investment Manager will:

    • Independently manage deals from intake through closing.
    • Conduct thorough financial and operational due diligence.
    • Structure and negotiate investment terms.
    • Monitor portfolio performance and provide support for restructuring when needed.

    The ideal candidate combines strong technical lending skills—including financial analysis, due diligence, and loan structuring—with a commitment to supporting Black farmers and driving equitable impact in the food and agriculture sectors. This role reports directly to the Investment Director.
