Description

Black Farmer Fund (BFF) is seeking a full-time Senior Impact Investment Manager to lead the underwriting, structuring, and management of our investment portfolio. In a traditional Community Finance Institution (CFI), this role would be equivalent to a Lending Officer, but at BFF it also centers on advancing racial, economic, and climate justice in the food system.

The Impact Investment Manager will:

Independently manage deals from intake through closing.
Conduct thorough financial and operational due diligence.
Structure and negotiate investment terms.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide support for restructuring when needed.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical lending skills—including financial analysis, due diligence, and loan structuring—with a commitment to supporting Black farmers and driving equitable impact in the food and agriculture sectors. This role reports directly to the Investment Director.
