HEARTS & HAMMERS - TWIN CITIES

To provide exterior home improvement assistance for Senior Citizens, Disabled Individuals, and Veterans of the United States Armed Forces or their Surviving Spouse so that they may continue living independently.

Hearts & Hammers will transforms the homes and lives of hundreds of vulnerable and deserving homeowners each year. Qualifying homes must require significant exterior renovations; painting, landscaping, safety and accessibility features, and many other exterior improvements are also done as needed.

A typical Hearts & Hammers home is "rehabbed" in one day to restore the character, weatherproofing, security and accessibility of each home. An average team consists of 30 volunteers from corporate groups, community groups, and Heart & Hammers volunteers.
