iNERDE Inc. was founded on the fundamental belief that access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education can create incredible possibilities for children. Established as a US-based social enterprise with 501 (c)(3) status since 2014, iNERDE Inc. intends to fill an existing gap - the gap between the skills needed to succeed in the modern world and the skills being taught in most schools in Africa. We address Africa's pressing need for effective STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education through two platforms:

• Curriculum development and dissemination
• Professional development (PD) for teachers and teacher educators

Over the years, iNERDE developed a rigorous curriculum that provides a transformative learning experience for K-12 students and teachers across Africa. Additionally, among iNERDE’s many successes, we built and trained with local collaborators, the first Malian robotic team AKA "TEAM MALI" to participate in FIRST Global’s international robotics competition held in Washington DC in 2017. "TEAM MALI" was awarded a silver medal for Engineering Design
