  • Mission

MISSION: We provide permanent supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness. We create and manage tiny home villages that foster community, encourage personal growth, and promote access to the care and services residents need. VISION: A community safely housed. A path to stability. A better quality of life.

    About Us

Panza dba New Horizon Communities is a 501c3 nonprofit that started as a tent city and now operates two fully thriving permanent supportive tiny home villages. Our first village, Quixote Village opened in Olympia in 2013 and our second village, the Orting Veterans Village opened in 2021, and our third village, the Shelton Veterans Village, opened late September 2023.

Many people experiencing homelessness have come through our doors seeking a chance to rebuild their lives. We've seen residents overcome years of substance use, gain employment, earn a college degree, and reunite with family members. The sky is the limit when you have a roof over your head, supportive staff, and a tight-knit community you can call your own.

Our volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year. Please contact us at info@nhcommunities.org, let us know which village you are interested in volunteering at, Orting Veterans Village, Shelton Veterans Village, or Quixote Village in Olympia. We will then connect you with the program supervisor for your preferred location to volunteer at.
