    Operating a broad array of programs, CEO exemplifies it "People Helping People" mission by mobilizing resources to fight the causes and effects of poverty and promoting self-sufficiency among low-income and vulnerable populations.

    About Us

    The Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) was incorporated as a private non-profit, Community Action Agency in 1966. CEO works to improve the quality of life for the disadvantaged, while promoting their independence through hard work, advocacy, innovation, resourcefullness and the unique bundling and integration of services and solutions. Services provided include: energy conservation and assistance, employment opportunities and housing programs, utility assistance and after school programming. Finally, CEO, the home of the Weinberg Regional Food Bank, also assists our clients in need of nourishment.
