AugustineBow.com is a registered volunteering placement organization based in Winneba, Ghana, that accepts volunteers from all walks of life around the globe to contribute to giving hope to the less privileged in our communities and to have an amazing cultural experience and exchange.

We undertake VOLUNTEER HOSTING and PROJECT PLACEMENT, STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM, as well as COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMMES.

We exist to ensure: Cross-Cultural Value Experience, Knowledge Sharing and Holistic Growth

Our projects range from Health, Early Childhood Development and Special needs, Mental Health, Summer Intensive Projects, Sports, Journalism, Habitat For All, and ICT FOR ALL.

Our vision is to see a world where opportunity structures are built around the vulnerable in society.

Our projects are developed based on the needs of the communities in which we operate and with the volunteers in mind. Each project is carved based on needs assessment and for sustainability purposes. So we have professional coordinators within each partner institution seeing to each project.

We allow volunteers to choose from a variety of our projects and a convenient duration based on the time they have, and then we design a comprehensive plan for them.

Since its inception, we have been working with different partner organizations and NGOs across the country and within Winneba. This allows volunteers to be part of what others do when it comes to community outreaches/services.

Irrespective of your project of choice, our community outreaches are mandatory (except for special reasons) and tailored towards addressing a specific need that falls within your chosen project. For example, we would not ask you to do medical outreach when you are on a Journalism project.

Meet your lovely and experienced host family. Our host families have, over the years, been hosting our volunteers just as our placement partners do. So they are used to volunteers and understand their goings and comings.
