    Description

    We Honor Veterans

    Salus Hospice looking for a few good men and women who have served in the military. We have an opportunity for YOU to perform an honorary pinning ceremony on fellow veterans. Our veteran patients are waiting to be honored by another veteran. Please help us recognize those that have allowed us the freedom that we enjoy today. Many of our patients have served in Vietnam, Korea or WWII and would like to share their stories with other service members that understand. Some of these heroes like to have ongoing visits as well. Let this be YOU!

    Volunteer opportunities located throughout San Diego, with a one-time training session required at our San Diego Office.

    We will work with your schedule.

    Requirements:

    • fill out all necessary paperwork for your file including a copy of your driver's license and auto insurance
    • attend a 4 hour training orientation
    • complete a background check
    • receive a TB test (unless you have had one in the past 6 months)
