    Description

    Bright Sparks Academy is seeking passionate high school and college students to join our Software Development Team as volunteers for Summer 2025. This is a remote, project-based volunteer opportunity where you’ll build real applications that support educational access for underserved communities.

    We are looking for committed student developers who are eager to sharpen their coding skills, collaborate with a team, and contribute to meaningful nonprofit tech projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
    • Contribute to the app using tools like Next.js and TailwindCSS
    • Participate in weekly check-ins and collaborate with fellow student developers
    • Write clean, reusable code and assist with debugging and UI/UX improvements
    • Communicate regularly with team leads for mentorship and progress updates

    Qualifications

    • High school or college student with interest or experience in web development
    • Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React or Next.js is a plus)
    • Able to commit 8–10 hours per week for 3 months (flexible scheduling)
    • Strong communication, self-discipline, and willingness to learn
