    Description

    • This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and as an Associate, you are required to contribute a minimum of 5 hours per week.
    • This role must be willing to attend meetings in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
    • STW(tm) will provide a "letter of recommendation" to interns, students & professionals who are able to showcase outstanding performance for school/university credit and for professional references.

    Save the Water(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW(tm) also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.

    The Role:

    This role is required to work with leadership to conduct research about confined animals and their impact on water related matters and work alongside government agencies to this end.

    What you will be responsible for.....

    Research about confined animals and their impact on water related matters.

    • Connect with government agencies to understand laws and regulations about confined animals.
    • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
    • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
    • Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
    • Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience)
    • A graduate in Biological ,Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
    • Experience in working with governmental agencies.
    • Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.
