    Resource Research Volunteer

Are you passionate about empowering sober women to achieve their fullest potential? Consider volunteering with us if you’re driven by compassion and motivated to make a difference.

Join New Life Serenity Center as our Resource Research Volunteer!

We believe that empowering women transforms entire communities. We are looking for a dedicated Research Volunteer to contribute to our impactful programs. This flexible, unpaid position requires 5-10 hours per week and involves close collaboration with our Leadership team to help drive organizational objectives.

    Your Impactful Role:

As a Research Volunteer, you will contribute valuable insights that help shape our programs and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting thorough research on available online resources related to women’s sobriety, the greater sober community, documents and studies for friends and family of those in recovery, etc.
    • Curating a repository of resources that are clearly categorized for easy use to populate our website. This will be shared with members of our sober community, as well as their friends and/or family, to offer additional support and resources.
    • Collaborating with Leadership to outline project objectives and develop strategic plans for program implementation.
    • Participating in team meetings to discuss research progress and align strategies with organizational goals.

    Role Requirements:

    • A background involving research is preferred.
    • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
    • Availability during EST office hours for virtual meetings and collaboration.
    • A high level of confidentiality and respect for sensitive information.

    What We Offer:

    • Training: You will receive 3-5 hours of initial training to equip you for your research role and familiarize you with our mission and objectives. Mentorship, training, and check-ins to support your on-going success.
    • Supportive Community: Join a compassionate and dedicated team committed to uplifting others.
    • Please make a Difference: Be part of a transformative non-profit organization that is actively changing lives within our community.

Why You're Perfect for This Role:

You are seeking more than just a volunteer position; you are driven by a passion for meaningful change and empowerment. Your commitment to supporting others, paired with strong research and writing skills, will make you a valuable addition to our team.
