    Description

    Education Program Volunteer at Sheboygan County Museum

    Objective: To assist in providing fun and engaging learning experiences about Sheboygan

    County history to various aged students.

    Potential Tasks:

    • Assist Sheboygan County Museum staff and interact with children during Education Programs

    • Lead small groups and encourage participation in Hands-On History activities

    • Guide students through Gallery Experiences

    • Utilize the Education Collection, Museum exhibits, and historic buildings in the presentation of Sheboygan County history to students

    Qualifications:

    • Enthusiasm for working with children and education

    • Willingness to learn about Sheboygan County history and ability to share knowledge while facilitating Education Program activities

    • Interest in assisting with one or more of the Education Programs offered by the Museum

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Orientation required; potential for ongoing training opportunities

    • Consistent availability on weekday mornings and/or afternoons
