    Description

    Join our active group of Park District volunteers and be part of a team that can make a difference! Help restore and preserve the natural area of Belmont Prairie during R.E.A.P. (Restore, Educate, And Preserve) Workdays!

    Remove invasive brush, restore trails with wood chips, collect and sow native seed. Everyone can get involved!

    The Park District will provide all tools, safety equipment and training in safety and restoration techniques. Volunteers should have the ability to work outdoors doing hard, physical labor. Volunteers must also be able to work with others as a team and to follow the directions of the workday supervisors. Youth volunteers under the age of 14 require a ratio of 1 adult for 5 participants.
