    Description

    Van Driver Volunteer Opportunities (Ages 23-76)

    Help make our services more accessible by transporting food directly to homes where transportation can be a barrier! Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun!

    Available Opportunities:

    • Home Deliveries: Deliver groceries directly to your those with transportation barriers.
    • Food Courier: Assist with food rescue by picking up food donations at local grocery stores.
    • Mobile Site Driver: Facilitate delivery and/or distribution of bulk produce to Site Partners.

    VEAP is open Monday - Friday from 8 - 5 p.m. Shifts are on-site and are typically 1-3 hours in length. Every Thursday an evening shift is available for delivery drivers. All adult volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation as well as a criminal background check prior to volunteering.
