The KeelWorks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) approved nonprofit foundation dedicated to' to support a better world by fostering learning competence, emotional intelligence, and networked intelligence, with a particular focus on empowering the economically disadvantaged. We aim to promote global economic equality through individual empowerment and inclusion, ultimately creating a more peaceful and equitable world.
We specifically aim to bring greater participation to the economically disadvantaged across the globe and in building a system to support upward mobility. We operate on the belief that unrealized human potential is a loss for everyone, that circumstances don't define individuals, that the hunger for learning is universal, and that every learner has unique gifts. Our programs include KeelWings, which provides practical experience for recent graduates, and KeelMate, which supports the experienced professionals.
About the Role
The Senior HRIS Analyst will ensure HR data is accurate, complete, and usable for decision-making. They will oversee HRIS management, perform regular data audits, reconcile information from disorganized sources, and create insightful reports for leadership. The ideal candidate can work independently or lead a small team (1–2 members), while being personally hands-on in at least one technical area such as HRIS administration, data analysis, or reporting tool development.
We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to own the integrity, accessibility, and use of HR data across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical execution with leadership in data governance, HRIS management, and analytics.
About the Position
Key Responsibilities include:
HRIS Management & Data Governance
- Oversee HRIS operations, ensuring all employee, volunteer, and program-related HR data is accurate and current.
- Develop and enforce data entry standards, change control processes, and governance protocols.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate data updates.
Data Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. ● Identify and correct inconsistencies in data from multiple, sometimes disorganized, sources.
- Create structured databases or spreadsheets from documents and records that may be scattered across different formats and locations.
- Define and track data quality KPIs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and deliver HR and operational reports covering metrics such as headcount, turnover, volunteer engagement, and compliance indicators.
- Use data analysis to support strategic workforce planning and operational improvements.
- Create dashboards or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) for leadership and program teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Operations, and IT to ensure HRIS integration and efficient data workflows.
- Support leaders in interpreting HR data for informed decision-making. Leadership & Execution
- Lead a small data/HRIS support team or work independently to manage priorities.
- Mentor colleagues in data management and reporting best practices.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Essential:
- Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and administration.
- Proven experience managing HR data and producing actionable analysis. ● Ability to work with and organize data from multiple, fragmented sources. ● Skilled in at least one analysis or visualization tool (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL). ● Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience conducting regular data audits and resolving discrepancies. ● Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with data governance best practices.
- Experience in HR operations or data management.
- Knowledge of HRIS integration with other systems.
