    Description

    Nature Center Steward

    Enjoy our beautiful Wetlands and our Wilderness Pavilion views while sharing your love of nature with visitors!

    The nature center steward interacts and greets all visitors coming into the nature center. You will dispense program and exhibit information, make program reservations, answers phones, etc., May also include some office duties.

    Between visitors you may choose to pursue your interests, such as reading a book- one of your own or from our small, interesting and well stocked library on Florida's natural environment.

    Morning (9:00am -1:00pm) or afternoon (1:00-4:30pm) shifts are available. Weekly 3 to 4 hour shifts preferred or a minimum of two shifts a month are required.

    Minimum age 16. Volunteer application & background check required.
