    PROGRAM DETAILS

You don’t need any special skills to join this program. However, it would be great if you have a background in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, nursing, healthcare, or social work

When you arrive, we will have a short interview to understand your skills and expectations for participating in the program, including your travel plans after completing the program. This will help us assign appropriate work and schedule for you.

Every day, you will join our staff and other volunteers to visit orphanages, social protection centers, and schools to implement health care, education, and social care programs. Before heading out, your team will have meetings to plan activities and assign tasks.

Typical activities include: caring for children and the elderly, providing physical therapy and rehabilitation for people with disabilities, teaching English, art, music, playing sports with children and people with disabilities, and organizing recreational activities like games, yoga, karaoke, dancing, or trips to the park or swimming sessions for the elderly and children.

Our Vietnamese staff will always accompany you to work sites to help with translation and communication with local people. In addition, we’ve prepared a job handbook that you can refer to for better participation in the activities.

Each week, you will work about 15 hours for this program. During the remaining time, you will have the opportunity to support an educational program for underprivileged children through activities such as teaching English and playing games with them

You will work from Monday morning to Friday morning. After that, your weekends are free for rest or sightseeing around Da Nang.

    ACTIVITY & SHIFT

In the mornings, you will usually work at the social protection center and the school for children with disabilities. There, you will assist with physical therapy and rehabilitation activities for people with disabilities, as well as participate in special education activities for disabled children.

In the afternoons, you will go to the orphanage and the social protection center to help care for and play with children and the elderly. You will also join in sports, music, and recreational activities for the elderly and people with disabilities.

The morning shift runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, after which you return to the Green House. The afternoon shift is from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
