    Description

    Market Research Associate
    • This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
    • Associates are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
    • STW(tm) welcomes volunteers who are seeking skill-based volunteering opportunity. STW(tm) shall provide "letter of recommendation" to professionals who demonstrate outstanding contributions for professional references.

    SUMMARY:

    In this role, you will primarily support us by researching organizations that we may partner with. You will receive clear instructions and guidelines on exactly what to look for, making the process straightforward and manageable. This opportunity is highly recommended for individuals interested in starting a career in marketing but who may not have prior experience. You will gain valuable exposure to research methods, nonprofit marketing strategy, and partnership development. This role is designed to be remote and super flexible.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Research and identify organizations across the U.S. that align with Save the Water(tm)’s mission and could serve as potential partners.

    • Collect and organize relevant data on these organizations according to the provided criteria.

    • Summarize findings in an easy-to-understand format for internal review.

    • Present research outcomes to project leads and other stakeholders when needed.

    • Support ongoing projects, including campaigns and partnerships.

    EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Strong research and analytical skills.

    • Ability to follow clear instructions and deliver accurate results independently.

    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    • Detail-oriented and well-organized.

    • Previous experience in market research or nonprofits is a bonus, but not required
