Support Shelter Operations During Disaster Relief
Location: Western New York Region; Southern Tier Chapter
Commitment: Deployed as Needed for Disaster Relief Operations (DRO); ongoing role
Note: Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving cargo vans or box trucks

The Logistics Fulfillment Volunteer (LOG/FUL/SA) plays a key role during Disaster Relief Operations by supporting shelter sites with essential supplies. You’ll help ensure that communities affected by disasters receive the resources they need - when they need them most.
What You’ll Do
Deliver essential supplies to congregate shelters throughout the operation
Respond to requests from shelter teams and provide client-centered support
Load and inventory materials in cargo vans or box trucks
Build strong relationships with shelter teams and support evolving needs
Adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced disaster environment
Required Qualifications
Compassionate and customer-focused approach
Valid driver's license (required for deployment; MVR may be needed)
Comfortable driving cargo vans or 16’ box trucks
Ability to lift/move materials and work in a physically demanding environment
Ability to work both independently and with a diverse team
Strong time management and organizational skills
