POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer is considered a departmental position and reports to the Digital Director. The Graphic Designer plays a critical role in shaping the visual identity of Beyond the Ballot and ensuring consistent, compelling representation of our mission across platforms. They are responsible for translating bold, progressive messaging into powerful visual content that inspires action, uplifts working-class voices, and builds the visual identity of the movement. As the Graphic Designer at Beyond the Ballot, you will collaborate with staff across departments (especially between both the Digital and Communications Departments) to produce digital and print assets for campaigns, events, social media, and rapid response initiatives. This role requires strong design instincts, a firm grasp of political storytelling, and the ability to turn complex ideas into accessible, emotionally resonant visuals that cut through the noise. This position is responsible for producing all visual content for the organization, including but not limited to social media graphics, educational materials, branding elements, campaign visuals, and merchandise designs.
