    Awaken Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering

    well-being, empathy, and compassion for all. We achieve our mission by teaching and

    encouraging mindfulness and meditation practices. Through our programs, we aim to

    empower individuals and communities to thrive in a fast-paced world, promoting a

    culture of mindfulness that benefits everyone.

    Position Overview:

    As a Digital Content Curator Intern at Awaken Pittsburgh, you will play a pivotal role in

    promoting our mission and increasing our impact. You will work closely with our

    marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that effectively

    communicate our values and programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to

    contribute to a cause that makes a difference in people's lives, while gaining hands-on

    experience in non-profit marketing.

    What can you expect to do in this role? (Essential Duties)

    • Review and select high-quality content from our video archives.
    • Edit and repurpose videos for use on various social media platforms and in email newsletters.
    • Develop a content calendar to ensure a steady stream of compelling content.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader promotional strategies.
    • Analyze engagement data to understand audience preferences and adjust content strategies accordingly.
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.
    • We expect this position to require 5-8 hours per week.

    About You:

    • Proven experience in video editing.
    • A strong interest in mindfulness, meditation, and the mission of Awaken

      Pittsburgh.

    • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Experience in social media management or email marketing.
    • Knowledge of mindfulness and well-being practices.
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
