    Description

    Support Patients by Becoming an Emergency Room Volunteer

    Emergency rooms can be a scary and stressful place for many people. You can impact patient and family members' experiences and help make their time here easier. By volunteering, you will greet patients and visitors and provide warm blankets, pillows, activities, snacks, and other comfort items. You will also support staff by transporting patient in wheelchairs, restocking supplies, office duties, and light cleaning.

    This role is for you if you:

    • Enjoy working in a highly active department
    • Thrive on bringing comfort to patients
    • Like seeing the immediate results of your work through patient satisfaction
    • Can be self-directed

    No experience necessary! We will train you on everything you need to know to be successful.
