    Description

"Safeguard Young Hearts through Chad's Gift of Heart & Art" as a Grant writer"

    Hello from CHAD,

College grads, undergrads, and senior citizens utilize your experience in proposal, grant writing, and research skills to expand new programs in "Chad's Gift of Heart and Art Programs," inspiring a heart-healthy lifestyle in mind, heart, and spirit. You have Creative vision to look outside the box to seek out celebrity and corporate foundations, manufacturers, and philanthroprists who align with CHAD's mission, safeguarding young hearts through preventive screenings and creating Art that challenges the mind and heals the spirit - "Healthy Body Mind and Spirit."

The Chad Foundation for Athletes and Artists has provided 10,000 heart screenings (Echocardiograms and Ekgs) to young people to prevent Sudden Cardiac Death in Young Athletes. Our new focus in the Gift of Heart is a "Heart-Healthy Program for the Young through Diet, Exercise, and Monthly Tips from Cardiologists, Fitness, and Nutrition Professionals," and in the Gift of Art, to launch a Scholarship Program for high school seniors for both college and vocational school. The Gift of Art will also focus on the "inner heart' and seek grants for DEI projects which provide a platform for teens to write 'stories of the heart,' and perform plays that express their challenges, and solutions toward change and healing.

Our namesake, Chad Alan Butrum, was only 26 years old when he died of "Sudden Cardiac in Young Athletes," while playing football with no history of heart problems. He was only 26 years old and lived his life caring about the health and welfare of all people, regardless of age, orientation, or heritage-"Healthy Body, Mind, and Spirit," his motto so they could live long, healthy lives and achieve their dreams.

Thank you very much for your consideration. We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate you including your resume and a few sentences on why our Heart Healthy Programs--inner and outer--for Young People interest you. Your talents and experience are invaluable to the success of Chad's Gifts of Heart and Art and forever appreciated.
