    Description

    Feed Our Seriously Ill Neighbors: Kitchen Volunteers Needed

    Project Angel Food provides free, medically tailored meals to Angelenos with critical illnesses. We need volunteers to prepare and package the more than 3,000 meals/day we produce in our temporary Lincoln Heights Kitchen (230 W Ave 26, Los Angeles, CA 90031).

    We have two shifts per day:

    Mornings: 8am-12pm, Sunday-Friday

    Afternoons: 12:45pm-4pm, Sunday-Friday

    * All volunteers must be scheduled. No walk-ins or unscheduled family/friends are permitted.

    * Minimum age for volunteers in the kitchen is 14 years old. Anyone 14 or 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

    * A brief, mandatory orientation will be held at the start of each volunteer’s first kitchen shift.

    2 shifts available:

    • Sunday thru Friday: Monday March 10, 2025 - 08:00 to 12:00 PST
    • Sunday Thru Friday: Monday March 10, 2025 - 12:45 to 16:00 PST
