    Responsibilities

    As a Software Developer, you will

    • Craft & Innovate: Develop and optimize software solutions tailored to meet our NGO partners' challenges.
    • Adapt & Collaborate: Work with diverse teams, being ready to tackle various software projects as needs arise.
    • Train & Guide: Assist and train users, both technical and non-technical, ensuring they're comfortable with the tools and software solutions provided.
    • Feedback Loop: Continually refine solutions based on feedback, ensuring they are user-centric and efficient.

    Our ideal candidate has familiarity/experience

    • Building core services and web-based APIs from the ground up, cares just as much about the product itself as the technology that powers it, and is capable of both.
    • Implementing highly-available distributed systems/microservices
    • Building scalable backend APIs
    • Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using JUnit, JSUnit

    Cloud Platforms:

    • AWS
    • GCP
    • Microsoft Azure

    Authentication/Authorization:

    • Okta, Azure, Google

    Database Management Systems (DBMS):

    • Postgres, Oracle, Mongo

    Programming Languages/Environments:

    • Java, Python, Kotlin, Javascript

    API Design:

    • REST, Swagger

    Version Control:

    • Git, CVS, Subversion
