    About One Bread Foundation:

    One Bread Foundation exists to combat child sex trafficking in the United States. By supporting restorative care homes, raising awareness, and empowering communities, we help children reclaim their futures. Our mission is fueled by passionate volunteers who believe in justice, dignity, and lasting change.

    Opportunity Overview:

    We are seeking a People Total Rewards Specialist to support the design and coordination of our volunteer recognition and rewards programs. In this role, you will help shape a people-centered experience by aligning recognition with organizational values, increasing volunteer satisfaction, and reinforcing our mission-driven culture.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in HR, compensation and benefits, or employee experience who wants to make a social impact through meaningful, purpose-led work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and enhance current volunteer appreciation and rewards systems
    • Research nonprofit reward trends and propose new recognition strategies
    • Assist in creating a consistent, equitable, and engaging volunteer rewards framework
    • Support internal recognition efforts for service milestones, impact stories, and achievements
    • Partner with People team members to align rewards with organizational values and DEI principles
    • Help craft communications around reward programs and engagement initiatives

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience or interest in total rewards, HR, compensation & benefits, or people experience
    • Knowledge of nonprofit or volunteer recognition strategies is a plus
    • Creative, detail-oriented, and people-focused
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Passionate about ending child trafficking and supporting trauma-informed care

    Time Commitment:

    1. 5 to 2 hours per week
