We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated Outreach Specialist to engage with women coming off the streets. Many of these women have been sex trafficed. This role involves creating a safe and welcoming environment for individuals, offering support, and building trust. The Outreach Specialist will serve as a first point of contact for women seeking help, actively listening to their needs, providing guidance, and connecting them with appropriate resources. This is a vital role in ensuring that women feel heard, valued, and supported as they begin their journey toward stability and empowerment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental presence for women seeking support.

    • Actively listen to women’s stories and provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance.

    • Empower women by connecting them with resources, including counseling, legal support, and community services.

    • Facilitate group and individual sessions focused on self-care, personal growth, and healing.

    • Serve as a liaison between women and other staff members to ensure their needs are being met.

    • Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity and autonomy of all women.

    • Organize and lead support events, workshops, and community-building activities.

    • Offer referrals to specialized professionals, if necessary, and help women navigate challenging situations.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong empathy, patience, and interpersonal skills.

    • Previous experience in social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred.

    • Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to various individual needs.

    • Excellent communication and active listening skills.

    • Knowledge of available community resources for women in need.

    • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.

This position is ideal for someone with a deep passion for uplifting and empowering women in their journey toward healing and success. If you are driven to make a positive impact in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you!
