We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gala Production Assistant (Student Intern) to support the planning and execution of a prestigious Gala event hosted by the Andrew Daugherty Vision Foundation. This event is not only a celebration but also a transformative gathering that will help shape a visionary mission for the future.
As an intern, you will work directly with the Event Producer and team, gaining first-hand experience in producing a high-profile gala while learning the skills needed to run large-scale nonprofit and fundraising events. This is an ideal role for a student who is passionate about event management, nonprofit leadership, communications, or marketing, and who is eager to contribute to a cause that will create lasting global impact.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Event Producer with day-to-day event logistics, timelines, and production schedules.
Support event communications, including guest outreach, sponsor follow-up, and coordination with vendors and partners.
Contribute to marketing efforts such as social media promotion, email outreach, and storytelling campaigns.
Help with onsite logistics, including check-in, guest flow, and volunteer coordination.
Participate in creative brainstorming and planning sessions for programming, decor, and audience engagement.
Provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and schedule tracking.
