This event is not only a celebration but also a transformative gathering that will help shape a visionary mission for the future.

As an intern, you will work directly with the Event Producer and team, gaining first-hand experience in producing a high-profile gala while learning the skills needed to run large-scale nonprofit and fundraising events. This is an ideal role for a student who is passionate about event management, nonprofit leadership, communications, or marketing, and who is eager to contribute to a cause that will create lasting global impact.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Event Producer with day-to-day event logistics, timelines, and production schedules.

    • Support event communications, including guest outreach, sponsor follow-up, and coordination with vendors and partners.

    • Contribute to marketing efforts such as social media promotion, email outreach, and storytelling campaigns.

    • Help with onsite logistics, including check-in, guest flow, and volunteer coordination.

    • Participate in creative brainstorming and planning sessions for programming, decor, and audience engagement.

    • Provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and schedule tracking.

    Learning Opportunities & Skills Gained:

    • Practical experience in producing a high-level gala event from concept to execution.

    • Understanding of nonprofit event fundraising and donor engagement strategies.

    • Hands-on training in event logistics, communications, and marketing.

    • Exposure to professional vendors, sponsors, and foundation leaders.

    • Development of organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a real-world setting.

    Commitment:

    • Volunteer-based internship with flexible hours leading up to the event.

    • Increased commitment required during the final weeks before the Gala and during event week.

    • Must be available on-site the day of the Gala.

    Qualifications:

    • Current college student or recent graduate (all majors welcome; interest in events, nonprofit management, or marketing preferred).

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a collaborative environment.

    • Ability to balance multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced event atmosphere.

    Why This Role Matters:

By stepping into this role, you will not only gain invaluable professional experience but also contribute to an event that has the power to inspire, transform, and help shift the vision of the world.
