    Description

    Practice English with Local Seniors in our Fun New Day Center in Oakland!!

    The Center for Elders Independence is looking for volunteers who can spend sometime helping our senior participants work on their English language development. Our participants are asking for volunteers to come out and spend some time chatting with them in English as a fun way to practice their skills!

    No teaching experience required, just a fun attitude and the ability to have a good laugh! We serve a very diverse community and all bi-lingual speakers are encouraged to apply!
