Practical Ways to Make a Difference in Your Community:
Love to grocery shop? Can you imagine how challenging it is to navigate grocery stores, read labels and locate your items if your vision is limited? Future in Sight needs volunteers to assist our blind and visually impaired clients with regular grocery shopping trips (weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly). Help a neighbor with low vision with this essential errand and to maintain his/her independence at the same time.
Become a Community Visitor...Volunteer visitors are matched with a specific client and provide companionship and connection.
These are great opportunities to positively impact the lives of individuals who is blind or visually impaired.
