Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and organized Project Manager Volunteer to support the coordination of FYAR’s programs and community events, including our Career Days and Pop-Up Talent Showcases.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, working with diverse teams, and managing multiple moving parts to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project timelines, tasks, and deliverables for FYAR programs and events.
- Coordinate with various departments (marketing, outreach, volunteer management, and partnerships).
- Track progress using project management tools (Monday.com and Google Drive
- Schedule and lead team check-ins or progress meetings.
- Support planning and logistics for FYAR’s Career Day, Pop-Up Events, and Youth Mentorship initiatives.
- Maintain clear communication among volunteers, partners, and leadership.
- Document processes and outcomes for continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate
- Organized, proactive, and creative problem-solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing virtual teams and using online tools.
- Experience in event coordination, project management, or nonprofit operations (preferred but not required).
- Passionate about youth empowerment, the arts, and community development.
