Cat Chauffeur for 13th St. Cats

Are you a cat lover with a flexible schedule? 13th St. Cats is looking for compassionate volunteers to help transport our rescue kittens and cat moms from the San Jose area to veterinary appointments for spay/neuter in Redwood City and/or back again. Driving can be split between drop-off and pick-up - so you can sign up to do just one trip in a day.

Responsibilities:

- Pick up and transport cats to vet appointments

- Ensure safe and secure handling of carriers during transit

- Provide gentle reassurance to cats during their journey

Requirements:

- A flexible schedule to accommodate impromptu trips

- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

- Comfort with handling cat carriers (including trap carriers) and transporting animals

- A love for cats and a desire to support rescue efforts
