    Description

Adoption Center at Petsmart on Coleman Ave in San Jose

13th St Cat Rescue is looking for a volunteer for the every other Friday AM shift to care for our cats and kittens at our adoption center at Petsmart, 607 Coleman Ave in San Jose. The specific time is determined by the volunteer. The duties include playing with the cats/kittens as well as feeding, giving water, cleaning litter boxes, brushing hair out of the cat play structures, replacing cat beds and blankets, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Center. Occasionally you'll perform a more thorough cleaning of the cat rooms before new cats come in.

Two shift orientations are required prior to volunteering on your own.

If you are interested, please fill out an application at: www.13thstcats.org/adoptioncenter.

Due to the small size of the Adoption Center, this role is not well-suited for a group. Please also note you have to be 14 years or older and anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult every time they are in the Center. These age requirements are PetSmart's rules and no exceptions can be made.
