    Description

We are Friends For Life Animal Shelter. We are a no-kill animal shelter. We work hard to find the best fit for our animals that are up for adoption.

Part of our adoption process is completing a phone interview with the potential adopter.

We need volunteers to assist with our adoption phone interviews. These volunteers get training on what to ask, what to look for and how to relay the information to help support our animals in finding their forever homes. They are not expected to approve or deny any applicants, they simply take notes and pass the information along to our adoptions staff.

Training for this opportunity will start with online trainings on the volunteer portal, then you will come in for a hands-on training in person. Only out-of-state volunteers are eligible to take their training remotely. We would prefer volunteers to come in to the shelter for their shifts, but volunteers can also make calls remotely.
