Responsibilities
- Research potential grant opportunities and maintain an updated grant calendar.
- Draft letters of inquiry (LOIs), proposals, and supporting documents for grant submissions.
- Assist in developing fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
- Support the creation of donor impact reports, thank-you letters, and stewardship materials.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to organize fundraising events and campaigns.
- Track funding opportunities, deadlines, and submitted proposals.
- Help maintain accurate donor and funder databases.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, development, or grant writing (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence and advancing women’s empowerment.
