    Description

    The meeting will introduce volunteers to the invasive plants of DVPP, how to identify them, and properly remove them.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in hands-on training to learn the identification and removal of invasive plants.
    • Assist in ongoing removal efforts to help restore and protect the natural habitat.
    • Work collaboratively with fellow volunteers and DVPP staff.

    Qualifications

    • No prior experience required—training will be provided.
    • Interest in environmental conservation, native plants, or community service.
    • Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

    Additional Details

    • This training is the first step toward becoming a regular volunteer with the project.
