    Description

    Seeking Photoshop/Graphic Design/Graphic Designer for Global-Sustainability Nonprofit

One Community is a nonprofit all-volunteer sustainability think tank. Our volunteer team fluctuates between 100-200 team members and has included over 1000 volunteers representing more than 60 different countries. We create open source sustainability-focused components covering food, energy, housing, education, and more. Read the specifics of how and why here:https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/overview/

We're seeking a graphic designer to help with four things:

    1. Create unique Facebook graphics sets based on sustainability themes using Adobe Photoshop. You will create these working with a combination of titles and graphics we'll provide and royalty-free graphics from websites like Pixabay. The rest is up to your creativity! If you have Creative Cloud, we'd love to see what you can do with the Adobe Firefly AI tool too, it looks amazing!
    2. Profile image touchups, adding occasional nature backgrounds, and using a pre-provided template to create customized bio announcements based on the volunteer's expertise and work with our nonprofit
    3. Basic web design and SEO with Wordpress to help with publishing the announcements in #2 above. We'll teach you how to do this.
    4. Miscellaneous other graphic design needs that may arise

    Graphic Designer Position Requirements:

    • Minimum 1+ years experience in graphic design
    • 10+ hours a week to volunteer
    • Must be available for at least 2 months
    • Photoshop license and experience, Adobe Firefly AI experience would be a bonus
    • A portfolio demonstrating creativity and excellent attention to detail
